The post-monsoon or autumn season-spanning September to November promises clear skies with excellent mountain views, alluring sunrises, and sunsets. It is the best time for photography enthusiasts and professional photographers. For all those who wish to trek and camp in the snow and witness the magnificence of the frozen Brahmatal Lake, peak winter months from December to early February is the ideal time.

This high-altitude trek is characterized by frequently changing weather conditions. Hence your Brahmatal Trek itinerary should be flexible and contain a few extra days in case of delays caused due to weather changes.
