If you are not from India, Indian road conditions are likely to be very different from what you are used to at home, so take a day or two to ride around and get used to the local ways. If you are renting your bike while in India, make sure to also take it on a test drive to ensure that it is as good as what it’s being sold as. Of course, you will always need to carry your driving license with you, as well as the corresponding international driving license. Finally, you will be riding in high altitudes so be careful with altitude sickness and be aware of its symptoms. Carry adequate medicine and hydrate sufficiently.
