Mountain biking in Ladakh will take you through remote areas that very few tourists have had the chance to explore. You may ride to some of the most exciting places in the world such as Pangong Tso Lake, Khardung La Pass, Nubra Valley, Hunder, Wari La and many monasteries. You will cross snow, rocks and more and witness the local traditions and the breathtaking sceneries that the region has to offer.
Mountain biking in the Ladakh region will require a good level of fitness, as you will be biking along mountainous roads and rough terrain for a multi-day expedition. It will take you up to high altitudes, so stay aware of the risks of altitude sickness and keep drinking enough water all along your journey. Finally, make sure that you have all the gear necessary. Stay safe with the appropriate helmet and protective glasses, and any other gear deemed necessary by your tour operator.
