    1. Reccy Adventures Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as “us”, “we”, “our”, “ours” or “Reccy”) is a company incorporated and registered under the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013. Reccy is an online platform that helps users/ visitors of its website to research, compare, plan and choose travel experiences, post opinions of those experiences, and engage in interactive travel forums. Reccy is not a travel or tour agency, and does not provide such experiences directly.

    2. This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as “Policy”) outlines Reccy’s approach to data protection to fulfil its obligations and duties under the applicable laws. This Policy applies to the personal data which is collected, processed, stored and used by us with the aim of providing and creating a user-friendly, personalised and an informed experience. By means of this Policy, we are committed to make our online users understand exactly what we do with their personal data and how do we process it.

    3. For this Privacy Policy, Reccy is the creator, developer, owner and publisher of the website (https://www.reccytravel.com/). This Policy explains how we collect, use, share, store, process and protect personal data/ information about the Users of our Services, including but not limited to all visitors and the End Users of the Website (hereinafter jointly referred to as “you”, “your” or “Users”). Your use of and access to the Services being offered by way of our Website is subject to this Privacy Policy and our afore-stated Terms of Use.

      1. If you sign up/ sign in to our website using our system of creating an account and then logging-in, we may collect information/ data including but not limited to name, email address, password, country, city, contact number, age, birth date, billing information etc.;

      2. If you sign up/ sign in to our website using any social Networking platform including but not limited to Facebook, Google+, we may collect information/ data that you authorize such platform to share with us including but not limited to your public profile information, birthday, current city work, education, contact number, school, email address etc. Such information/ data becomes Reccy’s account information/ data for purposes of your use of our website. This information/ data received from third party websites is also subject this Policy;

If you search for a location, suggested adventure activity/ package, a budget, etc. we collect, store and use this and other relating information / data linked to your activities and movements on our website with the aim to provide you better services and get you to your desired search results by making certain information available to you, including but not limited to promotional and relevant advertisements, brochures, booking/ trip- related offers (discounts) etc. In order to further facilitate your booking and travel-plans and provide you with a better travel experience, we may also ask for travel documentation, including but not limited to passports, demographic data, your country of residence, gender, age, travel habits, etc.;

      4. If you connect and communicate with a third party using our website, we collect certain information/ data regarding such communication(s) and certain further processing including but not limited to, whether or not you complete the booking, date of travel, payment method selected by you etc. and thereby, such third party may also be able to collect, use and store your information/ data for completing and assisting you to reach your desired search results;

If you use a device to get access to our website, we collect your technical and location-related information/data including but not limited to IP address, geolocation data, type of device used, model etc. To help us analyse the usage of our websites and related services, and to send more relevant communications to you with the aim of proving you better services, we also collect and keep track of your online activity with respect to our website, such as content viewed, pages visited, and searches and/or Reservations facilitated or made;

      4. Performance of a contractual obligation- We may collect and process your personal information/ data, mostly because it is necessary for our performance/ delivery of agreements entered with you including but not limited to your agreement to our Terms of Use and this Policy.

We may share your personal Information/ data with other parties, including other group companies and third parties, such as end-service providers who work on behalf of us or are affiliated to our services or other independent third-parties, and Reccy holds the right to share such data with relevant parties anywhere around the world. We share Information/ data to protect our customers, users of the website, the website, as well as our company and our rights and property.

    2. We may share your personal Information/ data to necessary and relevant third parties or external agent(s) in the following lawful manner:

      1. We use affiliated and unaffiliated service providers and marketing managers (referring you to a third-party website of a booking agent or a relevant website for facilitating your booking and other related travel plans) from all over the world to help us provide our services better in a personalised manner and thereby, run our business and related services subject to strict confidentiality agreements. These third party websites are authorized to use your personal Information/ data which you shared with us;

      2. If you sign up/ sign in to our website using a social media platform, we will collect, store and use your personal Information/ data from such platform. However, if you use our website to connect with/ access to such social media platforms such as but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+ etc., your personal Information / data will be then shared with such platforms and will be further governed by their Privacy Policies;

We share your personal Information/ data with third party vendors who provide services or functions on our behalf including but not limited to business analytics, payment processing, customer service, marketing, public relations, distribution of surveys or sweepstakes programs, and fraud prevention. We share certain unique information that does not identify you or link you with the Information/ data shared, such as destination, activity, mission, adventure titles that you may have entered at the time of searching for your desired result or as a part of your profile on our website. This Information/ data does not disclose your identity when it is shared with service providers, advertisers, third party vendors, etc.

Notwithstanding anything mentioned in paragraph 5.2 above, Users are requested to note that this Website further complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for data protection of the residents of the European Union. GDPR requires organizations to safeguard personal data and uphold the privacy rights of anyone in EU territory. We are a service provider connecting you with the most-suited booking plans, travel options, accommodation options, merchandise sellers, insurance providers, providers of other adventure / travel experience related commodities / services, ideas, packages, deals, instructions and offers for your travel needs and requirements. Our website contains several third-party links and content which is not governed by this Policy. Users when directed to such third party websites will become subject to such other websites’ Privacy Policy and Term of Use. We make no representations or warranties as to how your personal Information/ data will be collected, stored and used by such third parties.

  8. Controlling your personal Information/ data
    1. You have the authority to control the manner in which your personal Information/ data is being processed by us. At any time, an individual member of our website can chose to update or remove its personal Information/ data or seek details about us on the lawful use of its personal Information/ data or use the right to cancel/ discontinue certain services for which its personal Information/ data is currently being processed.
